The
bumblebees are a kind of insects belonging to the same family of bees, who
share with them the fundamental role of pollinators. Thanks to their incessant
work that is repeated from year to year, the bumblebees help to move the pollen
from flower to flower, allowing the growth and spread of plant species.
Compared to
bees or other pollinators, bumblebees also have characteristics that make them
particularly funny and nice: their body is covered with a thick yellow and
black hair that makes them appear chubby; their flight is noisy and certainly
less graceful than that of other insects; they are also much less aggressive
than bees (they can sting repeatedly, but they do so very rarely).
All aspects
that have inspired the photographic series that we present to you, which
portrays these precious creatures resting inside the flowers with their
posterior covered in pollen. Charming and funny at the same time!
