A GARDENER BECOMES THE BEST FRIEND OF A SWAN WHO IS ALL ALONE: HE FEEDS AND TAKES CARE OF HIM EVERY DAY

Most people tend to form a loving and fully emotional bond with a pet; be it a dog, a cat, or even a small fish or a bird, it is impossible not to become attached to this wonderful companion. But what would you think if we told you that there is a man who has formed a beautiful friendship with a beautiful white swan for at least a year? This fairytale story took place in Madrid, Spain.

Raul Pirù is the gardener of the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo in the Escorial of Madrid, and has been preserving the flora of the immense garden of this extraordinary complex for at least a year; it was precisely in this unique and rare location that Raul found a tender and unexpected friendship in a swan.

The images of this friendship were taken by Raul's wife, Cala, who posted on her official Instagram profile pictures of the bond that formed between her gardener and husband and this beautiful wild animal.

Raul managed to befriend the swan precisely because the animal was alone and did not have a female by its side; for this reason, the gardener took care of the swan for a whole year, fed it, and never abandoned it, just as if he were a true friend. And even if the monumental garden maintainer plans to include a female one soon, it will be really hard to break such a friendship.

Raul says it took three things to get into the grace of this beautiful white swan: "A lot of mornings, a lot of patience, a lot of affection, and this is the result!"

And if the end result is a tender friendship between humans and wild animals, that's great!
